American Airlines AA331 Kingston, Jamaica accident
An American Airlines’ Boeing 737-800 aircraft overshoot the runway upon landing at Kingston, Jamaica on 22DEC09. Heavy rainfall reported at time of the incident. Flight AA331, is a codeshare flight of British Airways BA5195.
As of 2332PDT: American Airlines issued 2nd Press statement on AA331 accident.
As of 2244PDT: NBC News reports the 737 lost an engine, suffered landing gear collapse. Which suggests the plane appears to be fully intact.
As of 2158PDT: American Airlines issued a press release on AA331 accident. In the statement release, it says there are 6 crew members and 148 passengers on board.
