Royal Brunei HK S10 capacity changes
Royal Brunei is adjusting capacity on the Daily Bandar Seri Begawan – Hong Kong route starting 28MAR10, as per 13JAN10 GDS timetable display.
Current 5 weekly Boeing 767-300ER and 2 weekly A320 service, changes to 1 weekly and 6 weekly respectively.
DELTA retires nwa “NW” code 05SEP10
DELTA on 05SEP10 officially retires subsidiary nwa’s “NW” code. A number of flight number changes has been revealed and adjusted in the reservation system on 09JAN10.

UNITED returns to Alaska in Summer 10
UNITED in Summer 2010 season is returning to Alaska market with flights operating from 3 of its 5 hubs.
From 22MAY10, it’ll operate 1 weekly Chicago – Anchorage service, then increase to 8 weekly between June and August. Between 09JUN10 and 30AUG10, there will also be 1 Daily each of Denver – Anchorage and San Francisco – Anchorage service.

Cathay Pacific changes to Mumbai / Dubai
From 28MAR10, Cathay Pacific is canceling service on the Daily Mumbai – Dubai route. As a result, Hong Kong – Mumbai will remain at 10 weekly in total, while Hong Kong – Dubai reduced from 3 to 2 Daily.
On Hong Kong – Mumbai route, CX685/684 operates with Airbus A340-300 from 28AMR10 to 30APR10, then switches back to A330.
Continental Daily to Cairns late-Mar 10
Continental from 17MAR10 to 05APR10 is increasing 4 weekly Guam – Cairns route to Daily. The increase is mainly due to the projection of increased traffic between Japan and Cairns

As per GDS inventory display on 13JAN10, Lufthansa Italia appears to have temporary closed the sale and reservation on its 4 Daily Milan Malpensa – Rome route, starting 01MAR10.
QATAR changes to Singapore – Denpasar
As per 13JAN10 GDS timetable display, QATAR Airways is continue to operate the Singapore – Denpasar with 5th freedom traffic rights 4 times a week from 28MAR10.
Originally it was hoping to secure 5th freedom rights (selling tickets locally) on this sector on a daily basis from the same date.
