Air Canada/UNITED begins Trans-Atlantic codesharing
UNITED and Air Canada has launched Trans-Atlantic codesharing service. UNITED’s “UA” code is appearing on Air Canada’s European service out of Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa. Air Canada’s “AC” code appears on selected UNITED’s Trans-Atlantic service as well as the Middle East.

airberlin expands Israel service
airberlin in the Summer 2010 season will begin service expansion to Israel, with the launch of 2 new routes, and increasing capacity on Berlin Tegel – Tel Aviv.
From 28MAR10 and 29MAR10 respectively, it’ll launch 3 weekly each of Cologne – Tel Aviv and Munich – Tel Aviv. Out of Berlin, frequency increase from 2 to 3 weekly. Wide-body Airbus A330-200 is also scheduled to operate Tel Aviv service in total 4 times a week.
