British Airways W10 Long-haul changes: Update 2

As per 29JUL10 GDS timetable display, new changes to British Airways’ 2010/11 Winter long-haul operation, mainly Delhi, Los Angeles and Singapore, as follows:

London Heathrow – Delhi 777-300ER to operate BA143/142 flight from 01FEB11, replace 747-400
London Heathrow – Los Angeles Reduce from 3 to 2 Daily from 31OCT10 to 01JAN11, Canceled flights on following periods
BA279/278 31OCT10 – 04DEC10
BA269/268 05DEC10 – 01JAN11

London Heathrow – Singapore BA011/012 service operates Daily, was planned 6 weekly

    Yesterday when BA announced Cape Town as their voted best destination worldwide the spokesperson said that the 2nd daily LHR-CPT flight over W10 will be operated with their “new 777″ aircraft…would that imply the 777-300ER or just a false advertising gimmick.

    Right now there are no changes to planned 777 Northern Winter service, which operates in 3-class, no First Class

    Has anybody heared any rumors when BA might reinstate the 3rd daily LHR-HKG flight?

  4. I heard BA will fly Colombo (CMB) in November 2010. Any news??

    This blog doesn’t mention any rumors or future plans unless it’s in the system.
