Singapore Airlines W10 Melbourne latest capacity/aircraft changes

As per 30JUL10 GDS timetable display, Singapore Airlines has tentatively finalized planned aircraft operation on Singapore – Melbourne route from 31OCT10. Note that capacity fluctuation occurs during Northern Winter 2010 season.

Latest changes below:

SQ227/238 388
SQ217/218 77W
SQ237/228 31OCT10 – 31JAN11 744 01FEB11 - 772

Regarding SQ237/228, discrepancies of 747-400 to MEL and return with 777-300 has been fixed to 747-400 both ways. Also, from 01FEB11, service switches to smaller capacity 777-200ER, instead of planned -300. Furthermore, the 777-200ER assigned to be operating SQ237/228 is the newly reconfigured 2-class 772 (J38Y228)

    Seemed that on their booking system the flight for Nov 6 is still B773 (SQ237)

    SQ’s in-house reservation system is showing 744.

    Still shows A380 on SQ238, B77W on SQ218 and B773 on SQ 228 @ Singaporeair.com

    SIA’s timetable display on their website has not yet been updated. When you make an actual booking, it shows the aircraft changes.
