DELTA starting 09JUN11 continues to increase Los Angeles – San Francisco operation, which it’ll add 2 more daily flights, raising number of daily service to 7. DELTA mainline operates 2 Daily and DELTA Connection by Skywest operates 5 Daily.
Overall Daily flights on Los Angeles – San Francisco (not including Greater LA/SF area eg: Long Beach nor Oakland/San Jose) route will increase to 47 Daily, which DELTA and Virgin America operates 7 Daily, UNITED 16 Daily, Southwest 11 Daily and 6 for American.

Air India plans Hong Kong/Seoul Incheon aircraft changes in S11
As per 22DEC10 GDS timetable display, Air India from 27MAR11 is adjusting operational aircraft on 4 weekly Delhi – Hong Kong – Seoul Incheon service.
Currently Boeing 777-300ER aircraft is to be replaced by -200LR from that date. The remaining 3 weekly Delhi – Hong Kong – Osaka flight continues with -300ER operation. This may be subject to further changes, however.
WestJet introduces leased Boeing 757 on Alberta – Hawaii service Feb – Apr 2011
Canadian carrier WestJet from 12FEB11 to 29APR11 is leasing Boeing 757-200 aircraft from North American Airlines for its operation between Alberta and Hawaii, in order to minimize the need of weight reduction when Boeing 737 aircraft operates the service.

New Egyptian carrier Nile Air to launch Iraq service from Jan 2011
Egyptian carrier Nile Air starting 11JAN11 launches operation with Airbus A320 aircraft. From 11JAN11, it is offering 2 weekly Cairo – Baghdad service, and followed by 1 weekly Cairo – Erbil – Sulaymaniyah – Cairo triangle service the following day.
Upon launch, Nile Air becomes the first Egyptian carrier to offer service between Egypt and Iraq since nearly 2 decades of service suspension.
