Oman Air to launch Khartoum, Sudan service from May 2011

As per 04FEB11 GDS timetable and inventory display, Oman Air from 05MAY11 is launching 4 weekly Muscat – Khartoum service on board Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Reservation for this new route is available.

Aerosvit S11 Operation Changes: Update 2 – Revised Service Expansion

As per GDS timetable and inventory display on 04FEB11, Aerosvit has further adjusted planned Summer 2011 operation. There are several planned new routes previously mentioned on this site on 08DEC10 being canceled while few other new routes are added.

Including the latest changes, Aerosvit is to launch 12 new destinations, 15 new routes in Summer 2011 season: Dubrovnik, Karlovy Vary, Krakow, Krasnodar, Kustanay, London Gatwick, Nakchivan, Novosibirsk, Pula, Samara, Split and Stuttgart. Originally the airline planned 24 new routes to 17 destinations.

Malmö Aviation Plans Summer seasonal service to Croatia in S11

As per Sabre timetable display on 04FEB11, Malmö Aviation in Summer season is operating a number of new routes to Croatia, mostly to Pula and Split. There are services being offered from Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Malmö and Oslo.

DELTA to operate Honolulu – Nagoya Summer service July – Sep 2011

As per 04FEB11 GDS timetable display, DELTA in Summer 2011 season is to operate Honolulu – Nagoya service, between 15JUL11 and 24SEP11.

Service operates with Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.

Emirates to reduce Sudan operation from Mar 2011

Emirates from 02MAR11 is reducing operations on Dubai – Khartoum route. This route will be operating 3 times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, instead of Daily flight. This will be maintained in Summer 2011 season.

Uzbekistan Airways changes Tokyo service in S11

Uzbekistan Airways from 27MAR11 is adjusting its service on Tashkent – Tokyo Narita route. From the launch of Summer 2011 season, the Uzbek-flag carrier is operating NONSTOP in both directions, replacing Tashkent – Tokyo Narita – Osaka – Tashkent routing.

Service remains 2 weekly with Boeing 767-300 and service to Osaka is pending. Flight is removed from the GDS but the airline says it is still in the process of adjusting the schedule.
