AVIANCA to start A330 service on Bogota – Caracas route from late-Apr 2011
As per 31MAR11 GDS timetable display, AVIANCA is introducing Airbus A330-200 service on Bogota – Caracas route starting April 2011.
The A330 service is to operate on AV080/081 on 26APR11 and then Daily from 28APR11, replacing Boeing 767 aircraft which usually operates this particular flights.

China Southern A380 Configuration Info
China Southern has released initial information regarding Airbus A380 configuration. The 506-seater A380 is configured in F8C70Y428.
First Class, 1-2-1 layout, is located on the lower deck. Business Class, situated on the upper deck, is 1-2-1, similar to current staggered layout used by ANA and ASIANA AIRLINES.
Economy Class is configured as 3-4-3, mostly on the main deck, while the upper deck location has 10 rows towards the rear (2-4-2 on Upper deck).
The Skyteam member currently schedules the A380 to operate new Beijing – Paris CDG, according to sources fro China. Image of the configuration was released initially by a user on Sina Weibo (mostly known as chinese version of twitter).
Air China plans 777-300ER Domestic service on Beijing – Shanghai from Jul 2011
As per 31MAR11 GDS timetable display, Air China is introducing Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on Domestic route starting 01JUL11.
Initially service to operate twice a day on Beijing – Shanghai Hongqiao for the rest of Summer season. First International route, is Beijing – Frankfurt CA9311/932, previously reported exclusively on 13DEC10 (see CA931/932 only in the post as majority of the information appeared has been changed since then. Hawaiian Airlines to launch Osaka Kansai service from mid-July 2011
Hawaiian Airlines from 12JUL11 launches Daily Honolulu – Osaka Kansai service, which will be the airline’s 2nd destination to Japan and 3rd in North East Asia.
Boeing 767-300ER aircraft operates this service. Reservation is now open for this route.

UNITED from 03MAY11 is boosting capacity on Chicago – Beijing service, which it’ll operate Boeing 747-400 aircraft instead of 777-200ER for the summer season, until 29OCT11.
Boeing 747-400 aircraft currently operating on Chicago – Tokyo Narita, will switch to 777-200ER from the same date.

Lufthansa Launch A380 Miami service from 10JUN11
Starting 10JUN11, Lufthansa will operate Airbus A380 aircraft on Frankfurt – Miami, where it’ll be LH’s 3rd North American A380 destination. This is being updated on 31MAR11′s routine schedule change, and currently showing the A380 will operate the flight after 30OCT11, the launch of Winter 2011/12 schedule.
