As per 29JUN11 GDS timetable display, DELTA is reducing Detroit – Hong Kong service from 5 weekly to 4 weekly from 25AUG11 to 23MAR12, 10 weeks earlier than planned.

In 2010, the Skyteam member reduced this service from 30OCT10, the launch of winter schedule. In September and October 2010, this route was operating 5 times a week. For the moment, it appears that the carrier will not add 5th weekly flight during Christmas and New Year season, which was in operation from 18DEC10 to 31JAN11 in Winter 2010 season.

In addition, during the month of October 2011, 1 of4 weekly service is operated by Boeing 777-200ER instead of -200LR.
