Hainan Airlines eyes Madrid service launch with initial schedule from mid-Sep 2011
On Hainan Airlines’ July 2011 edition PDF timetable, the Chinese carrier is listing new service to Madrid starting 19SEP11.
Planned service to Madrid is to be a tag-on flight from existing Shanghai Pu Dong – Brussels route, operating twice weekly with A330-200. However, the airline has not officially announced Madrid service nor it has loaded following schedules to the GDS. As a result, there is a possibility of such plan may not go ahead.

Hainan Airlines from 18OCT11 is launching Beijing – Bangkok – Colombo 4 weekly service, on board Boeing 737-800 aircraft. It appears that Hainan has the local traffic rights on Bangkok – Colombo sector.
