As per 31AUG11 GDS timetable display, AEROFLOT plans to start 6 weekly Moscow Sheremetyevo – Samarkand service, its 2nd route to Uzbekistan. This also marks the carrier’s return to Samarkand since the collapse of USSR.

Virgin Atlantic Tokyo Service Reduction in W11
Virgin Atlantic from 29NOV11 to 19DEC11 and from 22FEB12 to 05MAR12 is temporary reducing London Heathrow – Tokyo Narita service from Daily to 6 weekly. Mondays departure from LHR and Tuesdays from NRT is Cancelled in Nov/Dec 2011 period. In Feb/Mar 2012 period, Tuesdays from LHR and Wednesdays from NRT is Cancelled.

UNI Air to Operate 2 Tainan – Xiamen Round-Trip Charter Service in Sep 2011
Taiwan’s UNI Air on 08SEP11 and 13SEP11 is operating Tainan – Xiamen charter service, becoming the First International flight (under charter basis) out of Tainan in Southern Taiwan.
Originally the first International flight was scheduled to be parent company EVA Air’s Tainan – Komatsu, on 17SEP11 and 21SEP11.

AeroMexico Maintains Brownsville, TX Operation with Additional Service from mid-Sep 2011
Skyteam member AeroMexico is extending Monterrey – Brownsville TX service to year-round, with flights continued operation since 26AUG11.
