Update at 1005GMT 10NOV11

At time this post goes to press, Malaysia Airlines has reopened reservation for service to Buenos Aires, Cape Town, Dammam, Dubai, Johannesburg and Karachi.

These routes were due to be gradually cancelled between Nov 2011 and Feb 2012.

The airline Zero’d out all booking classes for these destinations since Thursday around 1100 local time (10NOV11) in Malaysia in the GDS, hours after report issued by Malaysian media “The Star“, saying that the airline will cancel these unprofitable destinations.

As always this site will keep close attention to the status of these routes for the next couple of weeks.
