As per 02DEC11 GDS timetable display, AIRFRANCE in Summer 2012 season plans to increase capacity on Paris CDG – Atlanta service. From 21MAY12, 1 of 2 Daily service is to be operated by 3-class Boeing 777-300ER, replaces 3-class -200ER.

From 11FEB12 to 24MAR12, Cathay Pacific is increasing Paris CDG service from 1 to 2 Daily. Existing Daily Hong Kong – Amsterdam CX271/272 service will extend to Paris CDG.

UNITED Receives Single Operating Certificate from FAA

UNITED on 30NOV11 received single operating certificate from the US Federal Aviation Administration, which allows it to operate flights as one entity, instead of operating separately as UNITED and Continental.
At the meantime, passengers won’t notice any major changes, at least until first quarter of 2012. However, as per 01DEC11 GDS timetable and inventory display, following Continental International service with “CO” code, is being remarked as “OPERATED BY UNITED AIRLINES”. Again, passengers won’t notice any significant changes with the addition of such remark, as majority of Continental operating service carries UNITED’s “UA” code as well.
For reference, following Continental International service is being remarked as “OPERATED BY UNITED AIRLINES” in the GDS, as well as passenger itineraries.

Myanmar Airways International Increasing Capacity to Bangkok / Guangzhou / Singapore

Myanmar Airways International from 08DEC11 is adding 3rd weekly service on its Yangon – Guangzhou route, where it’ll offer service on Tuesdays.
