Air China Temporary Suspends North Korea Service During Chinese New Year 2012

As per 16DEC11 GDS timetable and inventory display, Air China from 17JAN12 to 12FEB12 is temporary suspending 2 weekly Beijing – Pyongyang service.
The Star Alliance member suspends this service on routine basis during Chinese New Year, however, suspension period in 2011 was only 2 weekly (01FEB11 to 13FEB11), according to OAG

Korean Air Revised Planned Los Angeles Operation in S12

As per 16DEC11 GDS timetable and inventory display, Korean Air is scaling back planned operation on Seoul Incheon – Los Angeles service in Summer 2012 season.
Planned NONSTOP operation operating at 24 weekly is reduced to 17. However, from 31JUL12 to 30AUG12, service operates 22 weekly.

Transaero Resumes St. Petersburg – Tokyo Narita Service in Summer 2012

Transaero in Summer 2012 once again operates St. Petersburg – Tokyo Narita service. Summer seasonal service operates from 21JUN12 to 28SEP12 on board Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
The Russian carrier cancelled Summer 2011 operation to Tokyo due to the market slump after March Earthquake in Japan.
