As per 21DEC11 GDS timetable display, Emirates in Summer 2012 season is introducing Airbus A380 service on Dubai – Tokyo Narita and Dubai – Melbourne – Auckland routes.
Tokyo A380 service begins from 01JUL12, while Melbourne/Auckland service begins from 01OCT12. Auckland will receive 2 Daily A380 service as a result.

Dalian Airlines to Launch Operation from 31DEC11

Dalian Airlines, a new carrier established by Air China and local company, is to launch operation on 31DEC11.
Initially the airline will begin service on Dalian – Shenzhen once a day, followed by service to Beijing and Taiyuan/Sanya on the next day. Each flight operates daily with Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

KLM Terminates Miami Service from late-Mar 2012

As per 20DEC11 GDS Inventory display, KLM from 25MAR12 is cancelling Amsterdam – Miami service. The Skyteam member resumed Miami service in late-March 2011.
Note this route previously was scheduled to increase from 4 to 5 weekly starting 09JUN12, and switch from MD11 to Airbus A330-200 from 01JUL12.

Austrian Lifts Capacity to Israel & Iran in S12

As per 20DEC11 GDS timetable and inventory display, Austrian from from April 2012 to September 2012 is increasing capacity on Vienna – Tel Aviv (15APR12 – 16SEP12) and Vienna – Tehran (16APR12 – 15SEP12) route.
Boeing 767-300ER aircraft is to operate both these routes (Tel Aviv 1 of 2 Daily only), replacing Airbus A321 and A320 respectively.
