ETIHAD to Start Lagos Service from July 2012

Starting 01JUL12, ETIHAD is launching Abu Dhabi – Lagos service, on board Airbus A330-200 aircraft. This route is to operate 6 times a week.
Reservation for this new service is now open, however remains subject to Government Approval. Arik Air in late-Sep 2011 announced it will launch this route from November 2011, but quickly withdrawl the plan weeks later.

CSA Czech Airlines continues to shrink its operation, with the latest route on the chopping block is Prague – Sofia service, effective 25MAR12.

Ethiopian Airlines starting 15JUN12 is splitting operating on Addis Ababa – Rome – Stockholm service.
The Star Alliance will be operating Daily Addis Ababa – Rome with Boeing 767-300ER (plus additional 1 weekly flight continuing to London on northbound), and 5 weekly Addis Ababa – Stockholm with Boeing 757-200. Stockholm operation will reduce from Daily to 5 weekly.
