Continental expands Lufthansa Trans-Atlantic Codeshare flights
Continental effective immediately begins placing its “CO” code on most of Lufthansa’s service between US and Germany. Service on Philadelphia – Frankfurt, and Trans-Atlantic service between US and Dusseldorf as well as Munich are not carrying “CO” code at present time.

Air China service changes to Manila
As per 06OCT10 GDS timetable display, Air China has reduced service on Beijing – Manila route, mainly due to the Hong Kong hostage crisis in late-August in the Filipino capital.
Service in October 2010 reduces from 3 to 2 weekly, departing Beijing on Day 36. From 01NOV10, service increases to 4 weekly. Planned service increase to 5 weekly, is now only in effect between 05DEC10 and 01JAN11.

China Airlines expands DELTA Domestic US Codeshare
China Airlines is expanding codeshare service by DELTA within the US. Effective immediately, “CI” code appears on service to Detroit, Las Vegas, Minneapolis and San Diego as well as other routes.

British Airways/American Airlines expands UK-US and N. America codeshare
British Airways and American Airlines on 01OCT10 expanded their codeshare agreement which covers entire US – UK traffic.
In addition, British Airways “BA” code also appearing on over 100 new city pairs within the US and to Canada as well as Mexico, mostly under flight number range BA1500 – 1999, BA4000-5999, BA6500 – 6999 and BA7500 – 7999 series.
