Air Canada and TACA has filed a joint-application to the US Department of Transportation, seeking permission to codeshare between Central America and Canada via US Points. Air Canada already codeshares with AVIANCA.

First Air replace Nanisivik with Arctic Bay service since Jan 2011
Canadian carrier First Air since 13JAN11 has terminated service to Nanisivik in Nunavut, Canada. As a result, service has transferred to Arctic Bay, Nunavut. Arctic Bay is situated 9mi/14km West of Nanisivik.
The airline operates Iqaluit – Arctic Bay – Resolute 3 weekly, Iqaluit – Hall Beach – Resolute – Arctic Bay – Iqualuit 1 weekly, and 1 weekly round-trip Iqaluit – Arctic Bay on board ATR42 turbo-prop aircraft.

European Carriers Tokyo service changes 16-17MAR11
As per GDS timetable display on 2200GMT 15MAR11, latest European carriers’ service adjustment for Tokyo Narita for 16MAR11 and onwards as follows.
Lufthansa has become the first European carrier announcing suspending Tokyo service until next week, due to fear of possible nuclear radiation affecting the area. Alitalia becomes the latest carrier to revise NRT operation, which now includes intermediate stop in Osaka on outbound flight.
