Saudi Arabian Airlines Launches Riyadh – Addis Ababa Service

Saudi Arabian Airlines on 01MAR12 has launched new service on Riyadh – Addis Ababa, its 2nd route to Ethiopia. Service operates with Airbus A320 aircraft three times a week.
The airline also operates 4 weekly Jeddah – Addis Ababa route. This route from 25MAR12 to 30APR12 is operated by Airbus A330-300 only, replacing A320.

UNITED Retires Continental “CO” Code Flights 03MAR12

UNITED on 03MAR12 conducted its final phase of integration between UNITED and Continental, which sees the integration of reservations between the two, to the new SHARES system. The integration also marks the end of Continental’s IATA code “CO”, ICAO code “COA” and IATA ticket number “005″.

CSA Czech Airlines Cancels Helsinki Service from mid-Mar 2012

As per 02MAR12 GDS timetable and inventory display, CSA Czech Airlines is cancelling Prague – Helsinki service, with last flight operating on 14MAR12 from PRG, 15MAR12 from HEL.
The Skyteam member carrier starting 12MAR12 once again will codeshare on Finnair’s service on this route, which AY operates up to 2 Daily. CSA originally planned to increase service to 10 weekly in Summer 2012 season.
