As per 23FEB12 GDS timetable and inventory display, Air India once again introduces Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on Delhi – Jeddah and Mumbai – Jeddah operation, effective 25MAR12.

Garuda Indonesia Planned Taipei Service Resumption Adjustments

As per 23FEB12 GDS timetable and inventory display, Garuda Indonesia has postponed planned Jakarta – Taipei Taoyuan service resumption by 5 days. The new resumption date is 24MAY12, instead of 19MAY12. Departure from Jakarta on 24MAY12 is currently Zero’d out in the system, however.
In addition, operational schedule from Taipei will move from 0700hrs to 0900hrs.

As per 23FEB12 GDS timetable and inventory display, EVA Air starting 18JUN12 is introducing 5th weekly service on Taipei Taoyuan – New York JFK route. In addition, the airline will be operating this route nonstop in EACH direction, meaning BR will no longer operate technical stop via Anchorage on westbound flight. This will reduce travel time from 18hrs to under 16hrs.

As per 22FEB12 GDS Inventory display, Air China starting 01OCT12 is introducing Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on Beijing – New York JFK service, replacing Boeing 747-400PAX aircraft. Reservation and the seat map has been changed to 777-300ER, which tentatively marks the end of Air China’s scheduled Boeing 747-400PAX Operation. Air China received its First 747-400 in October 1989.
Flights on/after 28OCT12 are pre-loaded schedule which is identical to Winter 2011/12 season. The Star Alliance member will continue to operate Boeing 747-400COMBI aircraft on/after 01OCT12.

According to local tour operator, the airline’s FINAL Berlin departure is sold out. However, the airline and tour operator has added 2nd charter flight, which will operate Berlin Tegel – Berlin Tegel routing.

From 25MAR12, Taiwan’s Mandarin Airlines is reducing capacity on Kaohsiung – Hong Kong service, where 1 of 2 Daily flight is being operated by Embraer E190 instead of Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
This results in the loss of Business Class service in the afternoon flight, as well as reduction of roughly 50 seats per flight per direction. Further, existing AE982 HKG departure in morning hours will shift to late night hours.
