American Airlines starting 14JUN12 is introducing 4th Daily Dallas/Ft. Worth – London Heathrow service, on board Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. The 4th daily flight operates 6 times a week.
Overall operation by AA on this route will increase from 21 to 27 weekly as a result. Operation from 23AUG12 will reduce to 25 weekly.

On Sina Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of micro-blogging site twitter, American Airlines tweeted that the airline forbids the use of smartphone throughout the flight.
Tweeted on Thursday 01DEC11, the oneWorld member mentioned the use of “airplane mode” shuts down the cellular transmission, but it does not mean it won’t affect aircraft take-off and landings, therefore, smartphone must be turned off throughout the flight. (See screenshot).
