Singapore Airlines has announced the launch of codeshare service with Virgin Australia. Initially the codeshare agreement sees Singapore Airlines’ “SQ” code appearing on selected domestic routes operated by Virgin Australia.

Dalian Airlines to Launch Operation from 31DEC11

Dalian Airlines, a new carrier established by Air China and local company, is to launch operation on 31DEC11.
Initially the airline will begin service on Dalian – Shenzhen once a day, followed by service to Beijing and Taiyuan/Sanya on the next day. Each flight operates daily with Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

As per 30NOV11 GDS timetable display, British Airways is changing operational flight number on 3 of 17 weekly London Heathrow – Hong Kong service.
This route remains scheduled to increase from 14 to 17 weekly from 25MAR12, but the flight numbers for the new flights has been revised.
Meanwhile, British Airways service on this route will carry QANTAS’ “QF” code while “BA” code will appear on QANTAS Hong Kong – Sydney service.
