British Airways’ franchise carrier Comair starting 04APR12 is increasing service on Johannesburg – Harare route, which increases from Daily to 10 weekly.

The new 3 weekly service operates at night-time from Johannesburg, early-morning from Harare.

Comair (British Airways Franchise) from 01DEC11 to 18JAN12 is offering Daily service on Lanseria – George route, on board ATR72 aircraft.

Also, the airline since 31OCT11 has cancelled Lanseria – Gaborone 7 weekly service, which only lasted for 2 months. On Lanseria – Maputo service, frequency increases from 8 to 10 weekly with improved schedule.

Comair/British Airways to cancel Tanzania service from Aug 11; Lanseria Int’l Service postponement

British Airways franchise Comair is reducing service on Johannesburg – Dar es Salaam service. This route, originally launched as 5 weekly service in October 2010, has reduced to 3 weekly since Monday (20JUN11). From 28JUL11, this route will be suspended until further notice.

Also, the airline has postponed planned International service on Lanseria – Gaborone and Lanseria – Maputo route. These routes were due to start from May 2011, but is now postponed till 01SEP11.

There will be up to 2 flights a day on weekdays, on board ATR72 turboprop. This route was previously operated by Boeing 737-300.
