CSA Czech Airlines Ends Bratislava Base Operation

CSA Czech Airlines effective immediately has cancelled of its operation at Bratislava base, which was opened in June 2011.

The Skyteam member in Winter season offers 6 weekly Bratislava – Amsterdam, 2 weekly Bratislava – Larnaca and 8 weekly Bratislava – Paris CDG service. All of these services are being Zero’d out in the Reservation system. In addition, planned service increase to Larnaca and service resumption to Rome for Summer 2012 season, is also Zero’d out.

CSA Czech Airlines from 30OCT11 is increasing Bratislava – Amsterdam and Bratislava – Paris CDG service, where Amsterdam flights increases from 4 to 6 weekly, and Paris CDG increases from 5 to 8 weekly.

CSA Czech Airlines to Continue Israel Operation in W11

As per 15SEP11 GDS timetable and inventory display, CSA Czech Airlines will continue to operate Prague – Tel Aviv 6 weekly service, on board Airbus A321 aircraft, beyond 30OCT11.

CSA Czech Airlines Further Cuts to Bratislava – Rome service; Brussels Changes from Sep 2011

As per 21JUL11 GDS timetable display, CSA Czech Airlines further adjust operations at its Bratislava base.

On 13JUL11, this website reported that Bratislava – Brussels service is being reduced from 3 to 2 weekly. 3rd Daily service (Wednesday flight) will be restored from 02SEP11. Service on Bratislava – Rome, previously reported reduction from 5 to 4 weekly, will further reduce to just 2 weekly from 29JUL11.

CSA Czech Airlines Reduce Bratislava – Brussels/Rome and Suspends Bratislava – Prague Route

As per 13JUL11 GDS timetable and inventory display, CSA Czech Airlines has reduced service on Bratislava – Brussels and Bratislava – Rome route by 1 weekly. Brussels service is now operating 2 weekly instead of 3, and Rome operates 4 weekly instead of 5.

Also, just one month after the Skyteam member launched its Bratislava base, it’ll cancel its 2 Daily Prague – Bratislava service starting 29JUL11.

CSA Czech Airlines resumes Abu Dhabi service from late-Sep 2011

CSA Czech Airlines starting 21SEP11 is resuming service to Abu Dhabi, with 4 weekly Prague – Abu Dhabi service on board Airbus A320 series aircraft. CSA pulled out from Abu Dhabi market in mid-90s.

The Skyteam member today also signed codeshare agreement with ETIHAD, which opens up new codeshare market opportunities beyond both Prague and Abu Dhabi.
