CSA Czech Airlines starting 03SEP12 is resuming its own operation on Prague – Berlin Tegel and Prague – Stuttgart route, replacing Job Air operation which has been in effect since March 2012. CSA will operate ATR turboprop aircraft on both routes.

As per 13MAR12 GDS timetable and inventory display, CSA Czech Airlines continues to expand its service reductions, which sees additional 4 destinations being cancelled, raising number of cancelled destinations to 13. This is on top of 5 being cancelled in Winter 2011/12 season.

CSA Czech Airlines starting 22APR12 is launching new service on Prague – Nizhniy Novgorod route, which operates once a week on board Airbus A319 aircraft. Nizhniy Novgorod is the airline’s 7th destination in Russia, 2nd to be launched in Summer 2012 season.

As per 02MAR12 GDS timetable and inventory display, CSA Czech Airlines is cancelling Prague – Helsinki service, with last flight operating on 14MAR12 from PRG, 15MAR12 from HEL.
The Skyteam member carrier starting 12MAR12 once again will codeshare on Finnair’s service on this route, which AY operates up to 2 Daily. CSA originally planned to increase service to 10 weekly in Summer 2012 season.

Job Air from 04MAR12 is introducing Prague – Ljubljana and Prague – Berlin operation, both operates 12 weekly with Saab 340 turboprop.
These routes will replace existing CSA Czech Airlines’ service, which will maintain its market presence via codeshare operation.

CSA Czech Airlines continues to shrink its operation, with the latest route on the chopping block is Prague – Sofia service, effective 25MAR12.
Previously the Skyteam member plans to operate Sofia service 11 times a week, reduced from 12 weekly in S11. Reservation for this route on/after 25MAR12 is now closed.

CSA Czech Airlines from 23APR12 is offering service to Switzerland once again, with Prague – Geneva service on board ATR42 aircraft.

CSA Czech Airlines from 28MAR12 is launching Prague – Ufa, its 6th destination in Russia. Service operates twice weekly with Airbus A319/320 aircraft.

CSA Czech Airlines effective immediately has cancelled of its operation at Bratislava base, which was opened in June 2011.
The Skyteam member in Winter season offers 6 weekly Bratislava – Amsterdam, 2 weekly Bratislava – Larnaca and 8 weekly Bratislava – Paris CDG service. All of these services are being Zero’d out in the Reservation system. In addition, planned service increase to Larnaca and service resumption to Rome for Summer 2012 season, is also Zero’d out.

CSA Czech Airlines since Wednesday (02NOV11) has launched 1 weekly Karlovy Vary – Samara service, on board A319 service. The Skyteam member in Winter season also operates 3 weekly Karlovy Vary – Moscow Sheremetyevo and 1 weekly Karlovy Vary – St. Petersburg route.
CSA Czech Airlines from 30OCT11 is increasing Bratislava – Amsterdam and Bratislava – Paris CDG service, where Amsterdam flights increases from 4 to 6 weekly, and Paris CDG increases from 5 to 8 weekly.
Frequency increase is made possible after the airline decides to cancel service from Bratislava to Barcelona, Brussels and Rome.
Skyteam members CSA Czech Airlines and AIRFRANCE starting 30OCT11 will resume their codeshare operation. Initially the codeshare service covers all 3 Daily service each operated by CSA and AF.
The two suspended their large-scale codeshare agreement for the Summer 2011 season.

As per 15SEP11 GDS timetable and inventory display, CSA Czech Airlines will continue to operate Prague – Tel Aviv 6 weekly service, on board Airbus A321 aircraft, beyond 30OCT11.
The Skyteam member originally was forced to cancel this service from 30OCT11 as the Czech Government originally designated SmartWings as the carrier from Czech side to operate the flight to Israel.
