Georgian Airways adds Tbilisi – Tehran and Batumi – Kiev service
Georgian Airways has introduced several new routes during the course of the last 3 months. The airline on 01OCT10 launched 2 weekly Tbilisi – Tehran service on board CRJ200 aircraft.
Also, the airline launched new hub in Batumi on 15SEP10, where it launched service to Donetsk, Kiev, Kharkov, Minsk and Odessa. However, in Winter season, only Batumi – Kiev is operating.

Star Alliance member Austrian Airlines has canceled its 4 weekly Vienna – Tbilisi service since the launch of Winter 2010 timetable season. The airline has entered a codeshare agreement with Georgian Airways, which “OS” code is displayed on Georgian Airways’ 3 weekly flight on board Boeing 737 aircraft.
