Jet Airways Confirms Termination of Brussels – New York JFK Service from Sep 2012

Jet Airways on Friday (15JUN12) has announced the cancellation of Brussels – New York JFK sector, starting 10SEP12. On 04JUN12, the airline first closed reservation for 24 hours, but full-fare business and economy class air fares re-opened on 05JUN12.
The airline once again closed the reservation entirely on 15JUN12, simultaneously to the announcement posted on its website.

As per 15JUN12 GDS inventory display, Jet Airways has reversed its plan to cancel Mumbai – Bahrain route from 21JUL12. The airline in the past 4 weeks has been closing and re-opening reservations for this route at least twice.
In addition to reversing planned route closure, that airline has switched from Boeing 737-800 to -900ER on this effective immediately.

Jet Airways Partially Re-Opens Reservation for Brussels – New York JFK from Sep 2012

As per 05JUN12 GDS inventory display, Jet Airways has temporary re-opened reservation for Brussels – New York JFK route on/after 10SEP12. The airline briefly closed reservation over the weekend of 02JUN12.
Despite reservation being re-opened, the airline is only accepting reservations at full-fare price, as discounted fares remain closed. From 10SEP12 to 30SEP12, selected Tuesdays and Saturdays service remains completely closed for reservation. Follow-up report will be made in the coming days once the airline makes further changes.
