From 31OCT10, Philippine Airlines will terminate its codeshare agreement with Royal Brunei. “PR” code currently displayed on BI’s Bandar Seri Begawan – Manila service.
Philippine Airlines cancels Brisbane service; Australia W10 service change
Philippine Airlines has announced it’ll be canceling service to Brisbane effective 31OCT10, which the airline currently operates 2 weekly Manila – Melbourne – Brisbane – Manila routing.
Accompanied by the change, service to Australia remains 5 weekly to Sydney and 4 weekly to Melbourne, all operated by Boeing 777-300ER.

Philippine A330 to Riyadh in Jul/Aug 2010
Philippine Airlines is switching from Boeing 747-400 to Airbus A330-300 on 4 weekly Manila – Riyadh service from 12JUL10 to 10AUG10, as per 11JUN10 GDS timetable display.
The A330 aircraft has been operating on this route on selected days since the end of May 2010.
Philippine Airlines reduce Taipei service in Jun 2010
Philippine Airlines has temporary decreased service to Taipei to 6 weekly. This is due to the cancellation of 1 weekly Kalibo – Taipei service, which is due to resume from July 2010, which overall frequency restores to Daily once again.
Manila – Taipei operates 6 times a week.
Philippine Airlines starts Kalibo – Taipei route
Philippine Airlines is operating 1 weekly Kalibo – Taipei service with Airbus A320 in Summer 2010 season. Current Manila – Taipei service is reduced from 9 to 8 weekly as a result.
The Kalibo – Taipei service provides quicker access to/from the Filipino beach resort Boracay.

Philippine relaunch Brisbane; 777 to Australia
From 16MAR10, Philippine Airlines is making service adjustments to Australia, which will see the relaunch of 2 weekly Brisbane service, as well as Boeing 777-300ER entering service to Sydney and Melbourne.
However, with the 777-300ER entering service, both Sydney and Melbourne reduce to 5 weekly.

Philippine postpone Boeing 777 inaugural till 26NOV09
As per Philippine Airlines’ inventory display on 24NOV09, the airline did not go ahead with the inaugural of Boeing 777-300ER service today (24NOV09).
New inaugural date is set for 26NOV09, still on the Manila – Hong Kong service PR300/301, as well as PR306/307
Philippine Airlines 777-300ER enters operation 24NOV09
Philippine Airlines’ First Boeing 777-300ER is to enter operation this month.
From 24NOV09 to 10JAN10, the 777-300ER is to operate Manila – Hong Kong PR300/301 and PR306/307 service.
