Solomon Airlines from 03SEP12 resumes scheduled service to Auki and Jajao. Service to be operated by Islander Aircraft three and two weekly, respectively.

Solomon Airlines has announced that starting 04JUL12, it’ll suspend service on Honiara – Port Moresby route. In a press statement, the airline says it plans to resume service to Papua New Guinea at a later date, but no exact time frame is given. The airline resumed the flight in April 2012, after 18 years of service suspension.
On separate note, the airline from 30JUL12 will adjust operation on Honiara – Nadi route with operational day and schedule change.

Solomon Airlines from 26MAR12 is resuming 2 routes, offering 1 weekly each on Honiara – Nadi and Honiara – Port Moresby, on board Airbus A320 aircraft.
According to OAG and OAG Flight Guide respectively, Solomon last operated service to Nadi in August 2007; Port Moresby operation was operated until 1994/95.
Solomon Airlines from 05DEC10 introduced Sunday service on the Honiara – Brisbane route, on board Airbus A320 aircraft. This results in frequency increase from 3 to 4 weekly.
